Key Baby (Key Baby, LLC), in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, announced a voluntary recall today of its Natural Stages Infant Pacifiers (which is branded under a license from Pampers). This oval shaped pacifier was sold in retail stores from September 2010 to March 2011. Overall, approximately 14,000, units of the product were sold to consumers. It was offered in three different colors: yellow, pink, and blue.
Key Baby is accepting requests to replace or refund the recalled pacifiers.
Key baby is committed to the health and safety of families through a) research, b) innovation and c) sustainable business practices. Upon notice of a potential concern with our pacifiers, we immediately requested the removal of this product from store shelves. While there have not been any issues reported with our product to date, we continue to actively work to ensure that Key Baby provide the utmost safety to all families.
REASON FOR RECALL:
Key Baby is recalling and replacing its Natural Stages Infant Pacifiers due to the failure of a small sample to meet certain standards for width of the pack plate of the pacifier.
Consumers who have this product immediately discontinue its use and contact Key Baby, LLC to return it to:
Receive a $6.00 USD refund (plus shipping reimbursement),
Receive free replacement pacifier, or
Receive a $10.00 coupon for any Natural Stages products.

Key Baby is committed to providing complete transparency and an abundance of caution as it pertains to the well being or babies, children and families. The safety risk for this recall is minimal and no instances have been reported.
